PR – For the Love of Animals

Press Release
For The Love Of Animals

For Immediate Release, Margate:

A new non-profit organization has been started by a long time animal advocate, Joan Kohl, who was the founder of the Sawgrass Nature Center & Wildlife Hospital in Coral Springs, FL.
The Animal Lovers Society, Inc., a newly formed organization, will be making Margate its new home. Joan who has always advocated and cared for animals including native wildlife, domestic pets, farm animals as well as those in faraway places like Africa and the Galapagos wanted to find a more unique way to help raise funds to continue her passion to help. She also wanted to incorporate her love of art, crafting, decorating, gardening, cooking & antiquing so she decided to open a café and resale shop where new, gently worn, collectibles and repurposed items will be sold.

The Animal Lovers Café and Shoppe will be opening at Peppertree Plaza in Margate (off 441 & Sample Road). The store staffed by volunteers will be accepting donations of items to sell in the store, looking for volunteers who want to help with the cause and customers who love animals or who just want to find a nice place to relax in the outdoor café or shop for some unique items in the store. All profits from the store will benefit Animals in need. The store will also host special events and will aide in finding homes for pets, and reuniting lost and stolen pets with their families.
